Current Vintage – 2020
Grapes from old bush vine vineyards were fermented and matured in small new French oak barrels for 12 months.
Charming aromas of yellow apples, saffron, baked custard, quince and vanilla on the nose. Intense flavours of peaches and ripe citrus, while the finish has a pithy edge and lengthy notes of dried apricots. This wine is beautifully poised and has the depth, structure and fruit purity to facilitate further ageing.
An excellent choice with rich & creamy poultry dishes, cream-based pastas, spicy Asian cuisine, and prawns.
