Produced from a single-vineyard and matured in small new French oak barrels for 18 months.
Blackcurrant, raspberry, oregano and tomato cocktail scents fill the glass, with a touch of smoked meats in the background. Beautiful ripe, finely-grained tannin structure, with a creamy mid-palate and juicy flavours of mulberries and choc-dip cherries. A savoury edge on the lengthy finish rounds off a delicious wine.
Perfect with sticky pork or beef ribs, spicy sausages, and aged hard cheeses.
